VENUS NEPTUNE DISAPPOINTMENT IN LOVE
If there is a planet that an astrologer looks at to see how love is given and received, it is Venus.
Neptune is considered by many as the higher octave of Venus, it is ideal love, the one that breaks the boundaries of form. Perhaps the consideration of taking Neptune as such is partly due to the exaltation of Venus in the sign of Pisces. In this position Venus is ideally disposed to welcome without constraints, to let itself be carried freely, and on the other hand it is also found in the need to give in an altruistic and selfless manner. I mention ideally because although we sometimes encounter people who certainly display these attributes ideally, the norm is an oscillation determined by the whole natal chart.
Neptune is a planet that in astrology represents idealization, the adoration of the subtle, of the intangible form.
The combination of these celestial bodies shows a mark in the natal chart of those who possess it. In some cases it is a sign of true detachment or artistic ability. These characteristics are more fluid and constructive with harmonious aspects, trines, sextiles, or a conjunction valued by aspects of other planets.
We can also find tense aspects, squares, semi-squares or oppositions. Then we can see that the characteristics mentioned earlier continue in force, although we must also keep in mind that tense aspects of these planets tend toward confusion.
When Venus and Neptune are in tension, the individual tends to see the beloved as the reincarnation of their ideal. A golden pedestal is usually forged for the beloved person. However, this need to idealize is usually betrayed by reality. The person born with this position can be both an adorer and someone seen by others with virtues that are not real. It is, for example, an aspect that can occur in a famous actor or any famous figure. Many times over time, digging a little into their life, we find the reality of it, a life that is usually a compendium of unfocused, unreal, and often false images.
These are people who in any case possess creativity and who are not unreliable per se. Rather, they are people who simply prefer what they want to see to what is authentic.
If one of these people becomes your partner or business associate, don't be surprised if they go from exalting you to seeing you with undesirable attributes. It is not something you possess; it is something they possess.
Love is something most exposed to these tense aspects of Neptune with Venus, since in itself it is something ideal, something that has no defined form. Deceptions occur with these aspects, but not only for themselves. In many cases, they will let themselves be deceived as much as they will be the deceivers.

Throughout my life I have seen tense aspects of these planets in very reliable and authentic people. A natal chart is an overall vision, not the vision of a single aspect, however prominent it may be. However, I believe it is important for them to obtain an overall vision of their emotional reality, a vision that can be found in others, in those people who share the life of the native and to whom perhaps they should turn to achieve it.
Venus also represents how we value others and how we value ourselves. And there can be an oscillation between insecurity regarding the image we project in our environment and the desire to be seen as someone we are not. As I say, we can easily find all these aspects in a famous person or an artist.
Of course this does not apply if the aspect occurs in the realm of friendships, since then it will be friends who are the idealized beings.
All aspects, including these, require detailed study to apply them to an individual. If you want a complete study, you can obtain it here
