Uranus the Revolutionary.
At the beginning of springit was explained that in ancient times the year began with the sun's entry into Aries, on the day of the equinox. This year we have found ourselves with a singular position, a conjunction that repeats itself on few occasions, especially because Uranus, a planet that was performing a conjunction with the sun, takes at least 80 years to complete its revolution around the earth.
This phenomenon of special relevance emphasizes the nature and influence of this planet; the influences of Uranus are widely described in any astrology forum or place, to summarize them let us say that it is the prototype of revolution, of sudden and surprising changes, of those events that break from the customary path, of the strangest discoveries. Taking this into account, imagine at the same time that the sun entered upon the spring equinox it was performing a conjunction with this planet and the interpretation is already partially resolved.
We must also take into account that Uranus's entry into Aries, an event that coincided within hours with respect to the Japan tsunami, was added to the important transit of Pluto over the sign of Capricorn; for astrology there are cardinal signs that are those that begin the seasons of the year and that have a special relevance for observing the strength and, let us say, the self-motivation to leave a mark of transformation.
Once Uranus entered the sign of Aries it began to perform an aspect of tension that for astrology has the name of square; this aspect is a confrontation between two energies. In this case the energy of Pluto that represents the transformation of the deepest death, and on the other hand it also points to people, places, or situations of power, the power we are talking about is that which has the capacity to transform its surroundings in an evident manner; as an example let us say that Pluto traditionally rules atomic energy.
Uranus in Aries, taking into account that Aries represents impulse and the force to begin, initiates an era of revolutions and not one specific revolution, therefore we can expect some years especially sensitive to the desire to transform the situations that have been lived in recent decades.
However, these transformations do not always occur in the same tone or in that same sense; Uranus began its transit confronting thepower of Pluto and in part Pluto is representing, as it is being seen, economic powers; at these moments the alliance of Jupiter with Pluto is strengthening the interests of the powerful; in the future it will not be so, certainly revolutions go through cycles like anything else, in this case it can be predicted that next year will be more favored and less so will the de facto powers or those who try to hoard power.
In the very essence of a revolution lies the confrontation with established power; the nature of the confrontation is in this case that of destabilizing economic and reference structures.
