MAN'S DESTINY
Rich and poor.
There is a popular saying that there have always been rich and poor, I disagree, what there have always been are people who think they are better, more important, special and with more right than others to life.
Nationalism is based on the idea of inequality, it starts from the premise that those who do not belong to our community do not have the same rights because they have less, unless those outside our community are rich and generous, with them an exception can always be made, and if they are not generous and they are rich, they can be allowed even they can be allowed to change the laws
It is natural that there are people with innate abilities to perform mathematical calculations, to achieve greater economic benefits or to manage to attract the masses and establish themselves as leaders, the problem arises when with these qualities one intends to demonstrate superiority over others and not a quantitative difference or quality.
The problem is usually always the same and repeats throughout history in all areas, it is simply a cultural problem although possibly influenced by what those sectors who produce it most paradoxically deny, that which Darwin knew so well and that the far right with its religious foundation denies with their head and applies with their hands.
In the year 585 at the Council of Nicaea, the bishops discussed whether woman had a soul or not, they reached the conclusion through a vote that she did not have one, in reality the discussion was much deeper since they raised the question of whether they were human beings, this discussion that now seems like an out-of-place absurdity, did not seem so much at the time. This demonstrates to what extent privilege and differentiation impose themselves over reason and also that things change despite the conservatism of dominant power.
If someone finds it absurd to consider whether women are human beings or not, do not stop thinking that within a few years no one will be able to understand that we question our superiority over others based on our personal qualities, and this encompasses intelligence, the ability to accumulate wealth or the genetic and ethnic configuration of each individual, how will a human being of the future be able to explain the existence of far-right or far-left groups? Hardly!.
The concept that society had of woman in Western society was able to be changed, also other beliefs linked to dogmas rooted in the most instinctive part can be modified.
The victory of freedom and equality is something that is already won, it is won because common sense is the fixed point towards which we have been heading for thousands of years, through the most surprising barbarities, atrocious chapters in the history of humanity and characters who have made their difference from others a weapon.
Despite each atrocious act and each death, the future does not belong to totalitarian ideologies nor to nationalisms, the future clearly belongs to each and every one of those who begin to feel equal to others despite their innate qualities and peculiarities.
As long as we pour our hopes into a superior power sifted through a dogma of faith we will depend on a difference as violent as the most exclusionary nationalism, and little or nothing will remain of this because it is after all another way of fleeing freedom.
The speed or slowness of reaching this certain destiny will depend on the events and revolutions that take place, each pothole in the road is only a grain of sand in the history of time.
If we look at things with perspective perhaps we will see that each conservative political organism is only acting as a material structurer of the present not articulating the future, and that progressive ideologies only cast the rod forward without knowing very well what they are fishing for.
The future does not depend on any political ideology, the future is in the interior of each human being who has lived and will live and is and will always be the same.
Human success is already written.
